More than a day at sea

A day trip ends at the dock. A voyage only just begins there.

There's a moment on every great day at sea when you wish you didn't have to turn back. A multi-day charter is what happens when you don't. The sun goes down, you drop anchor in a quiet bay, and the adventure simply carries on into the next morning.

Aboard Sphynx you sleep on the water, wake to a swim off the deck, and chart your own course along the Costa Brava or across to Ibiza and the Balearic Islands. No hotels, no transfers, no fixed itinerary — just the yacht, the crew, and a coastline that keeps unfolding. It's the difference between visiting the Mediterranean and properly living on it.

Where you could go

From Barcelona, the whole western Med opens up.

Three ways to sail. Tell us how many days you have and we'll plot the route together.

Multi-day yacht charter from Barcelona — Sphynx anchored in a turquoise Balearic cove at golden hour
A new anchorage every evening

The experience

Days that run on tides, not timetables.

The first morning sets the rhythm. You wake to water lapping the hull, dive straight off the back for a swim before breakfast, and over coffee on deck decide — together with Captain Laurence — where today might take you. There's no checkout time, no road, no plan you have to keep.

By day you sail, swim and explore; you might lunch at anchor in an empty cove, drop into a fishing village for the evening, or push on to the next island. A multi-day yacht charter from Barcelona unfolds at the speed of the sea, and the route bends to the weather, the mood and what you feel like doing.

Head north and the Costa Brava delivers pine-backed coves and clear green water within a few hours' sail. Point south and a yacht charter to Ibiza from Barcelona opens up Formentera's sandbanks, the calas of Mallorca and Menorca, and Ibiza's unmistakable coastline — a full week of island-hopping with the freedom to anchor wherever you please.

Each night you tuck into a sheltered bay, eat under the stars, and sleep aboard with the gentle movement of the water. Up to seven guests across three cabins means a couple, a family or a group of friends can share the whole adventure — and wake up ready to do it all again.

Life on board

Your home on the water, for as long as you like.

Sleep Aboard

Eat on Deck

Breakfast at anchor, long lunches in a cove, dinner under the stars. We can arrange provisioning and a chef, or stop into port to dine ashore.

Questions

Everything you need to plan the voyage.

Multi-day charters aboard Sphynx start from €1,200 per day for the whole yacht, priced per group rather than per person. The final quote depends on your route, the number of days and the season. Message Captain Laurence on WhatsApp with your plans and we'll confirm everything up front.
Yes. Charters along the Costa Brava run from a 3-day minimum, while a charter to Ibiza and the Balearics is from a 7-day minimum, as the crossing and island-hopping need the time to do properly.
Yes — a yacht charter to Ibiza from Barcelona is one of our most popular voyages. Over a week you can cross to the Balearics and explore Ibiza, Formentera, and the calas of Mallorca and Menorca, anchoring and swimming along the way. We plan the crossing around the weather for a safe, comfortable passage.
Sphynx sleeps up to 7 guests across 3 cabins, with 2 bathrooms on board. That makes it ideal for a couple, a family, or a group of friends sharing the whole adventure.
We can arrange provisioning so the galley is stocked for the trip, and a private chef can be added if you'd like meals prepared on board. You can also stop into ports along the way to dine ashore. We'll tailor it to how you want to eat.
We plan it together before you sail, around your dates, the places you most want to see and the weather. Captain Laurence has over 10 years on this coast, so you get local knowledge of the best anchorages — and the flexibility to change plans on the day.
Late spring through to early autumn offers the warmest weather, calmest seas and best swimming, which is ideal for longer voyages and the Balearics crossing. We're happy to advise on the best window for your dates.
None at all. Captain Laurence handles all the sailing and navigation. You're welcome to get hands-on and learn the ropes if you'd like, or simply relax and enjoy the voyage — it's entirely up to you.
