From Los Angeles, with Romanian blood and a quiet obsession with the sea — Laurence didn't move to Barcelona for the city. He moved here to sail.
For more than ten years, Laurence has been reading the wind off Catalonia's coast — guiding couples, families, and entire wedding parties through the calm coves between Sitges and Cadaqués. He speaks English and Spanish, knows where the dolphins surface in July, and makes the kind of homemade sangria that ends up in reviews.

Sphynx departs from Marina Vela, Pg. de Joan de Borbó 103, Berth 80, 08039 Barcelona — Barcelona's most exclusive marina, just a five-minute walk from Barceloneta metro station. Secure on-site parking is available, and you'll be welcomed onboard at the berth (no crowded ticket counters or terminal queues).
A 2-hour private tour aboard Sphynx is €350 for the whole yacht — not per person — for up to 11 guests. Each additional hour is €150.
For longer experiences, multi-day charters to Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca and the Costa Brava start at €1,200 per day with up to 7 guests sleeping onboard across three private cabins.
€55 per person for a 2-hour shared sailing tour — sunset or afternoon — with open bar (cava, white and red wine, beer, soft drinks) and snacks included. Maximum 10 guests per departure to keep the experience intimate.
Captain Laurence as your host, fuel, beverages (water, soft drinks, white and red wine, cava and beer), light snacks, and full use of the yacht's facilities — including two bathrooms with showers, sun deck and indoor lounge.
